Engr Adekola Adegoke is the Technical Expert (Engineering) of Cassava: Adding Value for Africa Phase II, C:AVA II Project, Nigeria, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He is a Chartered Food Engineer with over seven years experience in the Food and Agro Processing Industry.
In line with Nigerian government policy of adoption of Cassava and its products as a foreign
exchange earner crop; Engr. Adekola is one of the foremost Cassava Industrial Processors, having worked with the first and biggest cassava based glucose syrup plant in Sub Saharan Africa, Ekha Agro Processing Limited. He has just supervised the construction and test running of a High Quality Cassava Starch/Flour Plant in Ado Awaye, Oyo state, Nigeria. He has been trained by International Starch Institute, Denmark and Sino-German Technology Co. China. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Food Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho and a Master’s of Science degree in Food Engineering from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. His areas of interest include: Post Harvest Engineering, Food Machineries Design and Fabrication, Food Plant Maintenance and Production Management.
