CAVA 2 Nigeria has been training bread and confectionery makers on the inclusion of HQCF in confectionery products making. In other to achieve a wider coverage of people in the baking and confectionery businesses, about 80 bakers and confectionery products makers in Lagos were identified and invited for the training to help improve either on the recipes, products. The 2-day training was held at the His Majesty Kitchen Limited, Plot 1713, Chartered Bank Close, Idejo Bus-stop, Victoria Island, Lagos State from the 2nd- 3rd August, 2018.
Hands on demonstration/training on the inclusion of HQCF at different percentages with wheat flour in different products such as Puff-puff, Doughnut, Egg roll, Chin-chin, Meat pie, Sausage roll, Queens cake and Bons was given to the participants. The participants expressed their gratitude to CAVA2 for the opportunity given to them and look forward to benefiting from other opportunities that will improve their businesses.
